A prayer to calm a worried and anxious heart
Heavenly Father,
I come before you today with a heart burdened by worry and anxiety. You know the depths of my soul, and you see the turmoil that grips my heart. In this moment of distress, I seek your presence and your peace to calm my troubled spirit.
Grant me the serenity to trust in your providence, knowing that you hold all things in your hands. Help me to release my fears and anxieties into your care, knowing that you are my refuge and my strength.
Fill me with your peace, guarding my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May your presence surround me like a shield, dispelling every fear and doubt that seeks to overwhelm me.
Lord, grant me the courage to surrender control and to place my trust wholly in you. Help me to fix my eyes on you, knowing that you alone are the source of true peace and security.
In Jesus’ name, I pray,
Amen
